DESCRIPTION:The 11th Annual Townsend Fair will be held on Saturday\, S
 eptember 24\, 2016.\n\nThe fair begins with a parade from the Townsend
  Fire Station on Main Street at 10 am.  The parade proceeds down Main 
 Street to the Municipal Park where the fair will be held from 11 to 3 
 with bounce houses\, carnival games\, contests\, face painting\, lots 
 of good food and  about 100 vendors set up in the park\, providing a f
 un-filled day from start to finish.  Parade and vendor registrations a
 re now closed\; however\, you can still register your pets for the tri
 ck and/or costume contests.  Registration form is provided below.  Vis
