Currently, the positivity rate in our zip code is approximately four times greater than the state 7-day floating average. In addition, there have been approximately 90 new cases in our zip code over the last seven days. The floating average is approximately 13 new cases per day in our zip code.

This variant of the COVID-19 virus is showing a breakthrough rate at over 21%.  Residents are urged to get fully vaccinated and to receive a booster shot as directed. Find out where to receive your vaccination or get tested by clicking here. It is clear that being fully vaccinated substantially reduces the likelihood of serious illness relating to this disease. However, hospitals in the state are reporting being overwhelmed with new cases.
