Yard Waste Collection in the Town of Townsend
Date Posted: Monday, April 19th, 2021The Town Of Townsend is happy to announce that we have added yard waste collection as a new service effective the first week in May. The Town of Townsend has negotiated to offer yard waste every other week. This additional service is provided at no cost to our residents. In order to achieve this GFL, our municipal waste service provider, will be distributing yard waste containers for each resident in Town, beginning this week.
Yard waste will be collected from May 1 through December on a bi-weekly basis. Guidance relating to the yard waste collection will be provided shortly.
