Town of Townsend Recognizes Memorial Day
Date Posted: Monday, May 30th, 2022In recognition of Memorial Day, Town of Townsend and VFW Post 3792 placed flags for the fallen in front of Townsend Town Hall. Each flag represents a servicemember who sacrificed all for their country. If you look closely at each flag, you will see a name on all but 2 of the flags – those represent the MIA and those lost, who remain unknown.
