FBI warning of Foreign cyber attacks.
The FBI has put out a notification that a virus is affecting the east coast and has already affected over 500,000 people and business. It comes in through your router, takes all your information and then wipes everything out. They recommend you unplug your router for 1 minute and plug it back in. Rental Ordinance No. 17-05
Rental Ordinance No. 17-05 was passed on April 4, 2018 with an effective date of January 1, 2019. The approved ordinance, along with proposed forms (which have not yet been finalized) can be viewed below. Additional communications will follow. Compliance with this ordinance is required by ALL residential rental units, whether they be apartments or single family residences.

Please join County Executive Matt Meyer and New Castle County Councilman William E.Powers, Jr. for a Community Town Hall meeting. The County Executive Meyer presented his proposed Fiscal Year 2019 Budget on March 27 and now wants to share the budget plan directly with all the residents and hear from you.
Each Community Town Hall Meeting features an informational presentation and a review of the County’s fiscal challenges, followed by a question and answer session and discussion about County priorities as work progresses to enact a balanced budget. Streetscape – Phase II
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) invites the public to attend a public presentation to receive information about the design for pedestrian improvements in Townsend along Main Street from South Street to Brook Ramble Lane. The proposed safety improvements will be the focus of the May 23rd public workshop, which will be held at Town Hall from 4:30 – 6:30 pm. Interested members of the public are invited to attend.
The purpose of the presentation is to provide an opportunity for the public to review and discuss the plan for the proposed improvements and provide input prior to the project submission to DelDOT for design funding. Attendees will have an opportunity to review display materials and provide comments to DelDOT representatives.
Interested persons are invited to express their views in writing, giving reasons for support of or in opposition to the proposed project. Comments will be received during the workshop or can be mailed to DelDOT Public Relations, P.O. Box 778, Dover, DE 19903.

Interview with 2018 Townsend Town Council Candidates
Townsend’s council election is set for Saturday, May 5 from 8am to 6pm at Town Hall, 141 Main Street as Cindy Cook, Edgar Dugan and Jermaine Hatton are running for the town seats currently held by Cook and Hatton. Middletown Radio had the opportunity to talk to all three candidates prior to the election.
