2021 Town Council Candidate Biography- Eschalla Clarke

Eschalla Clarke has been a public servant for over 20 years, the last 15 years was committed to residents of Delaware. Employed by the State of Delaware, she serves as a Senior Administrator overseeing social service programs, and has contributed to the delivery of higher education, healthcare, transportation, and public safety across the state. In this capacity, Eschalla manages boards, committees and workgroups; she currently sits on the Overdose System of Care Rural Subcommittee and chairs the Medication Assisted Treatment Workgroup.

As a passionate volunteer, Eschalla works with underserved veterans in Delaware and has dedicated the past five years to helping children in Foster Care have a voice inside courtrooms. She serves on an Appoquinimink public school Parent Teacher Association (PTA), is a Townsend based entrepreneur providing transformational consulting services to businesses, and advocates for women’s rights.

Eschalla is a mother, sister, and daughter to residents of Townsend. Her children are enrolled in the Appoquinimink School District, were baptized within a 5 mile radius of their home, and enjoy extracurricular activities in surrounding towns. Like you, Eschalla knows first hand how great it is to live in this small town and she wants to be your representative in the room when decisions are being made.
