NOTICE Road Closure Wiggins Mill Road
Date Posted: Tuesday, October 26th, 2021Effective Monday November 1, 2021, Delaware Department of Transportation will be closing Wiggins Mill Road from Andy Street to Wilson Street to reconstruct the existing box culvert and widen Wiggins Mill Road to allow for 2 lanes of traffic. DelDOT is advising that the road will be closed for approximately 3 weeks.
Traffic will be allowed to travel from Green Giant Road to Andy Street for local access. Traffic will also be allowed on Railroad Avenue to Wilson Street. Detour signs will be posted for traffic flow. The Town continues to work with DelDOT officials, Senator Ennis and Representative Spiegelman to add a walking path or sidewalk to the area.
