Pending Severe Weather Conditions
Date Posted: Sunday, January 2nd, 2022Weather forecasts are reporting a Severe Winter Storm to begin overnight in our area.
Current forecast is for rain turning to snow by 4 AM Monday. Snow is expected throughout the day with the potential for heavy accumulation.
The Town snowplow contractor has been placed on standby. Residents are requested to remove their vehicles from roadways by 7 AM to allow for efficient snow removal operations.
Townsend offices will be closed to the public. Staff will be working remotely to meet the needs of our residents.
