NOTICE OF SOLICITATION OF CANDIDATES

The annual Town Council election is scheduled for Saturday, May 7^th, 2022, the 1^st Saturday in May, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

There are Three (3) Council positions open for election.

Two (2) Council positions are open for a two-year term, until 2024.

One (1) Council position is open for a one-year term, until 2023.

Applications are available beginning Monday, March 7^th, 2022

*PETITIONS OF CANDIDACY APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED AT TOWN HALL BY 4:30 PM on Thursday, April 7^th, 2022.

QUALIFICATIONS for CANDIDACY

Be 18 years of age
Be a Citizen of the United States of America
Be a registered voter in the State of Delaware, New Castle County
Be a legal resident within the Town Corporate Boundaries for a minimum of twelve (12) consecutive months immediately preceding the filing of Candidacy.
