In recognition of the Thanksgiving Holiday, Townsend Townhall will be closed on Thursday, November 28, 2024 and Friday, November 29, 2024.  Have a safe, happy, and healthy holiday!
 
 

COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT: Townsend Townhall Library Open to Townsend Residents

Townsend Townhall Library Located within Townhall- 141 Main Street To Reserve a book, simply email or mail in the requested book title and date of desired collection. At time of pick up- you will need to show identification confirming you are a Townsend resident. IMPORTANT INFO: Check out Times are for 30 days. Three books are eligible to be reserved at one time. Extensions are available if no future reservations are in place. PUBLIC NOTICE: Survey- Light Installations

At a recent Council Meeting, it was discussed options for potential additional lights throughout Town. A few areas were mentioned but Council thought it was best to reach out to the Town to hear the feedback from the Owners. 

Below is a survey we ask you complete listing the areas where you feel additional lights would be a benefit.

Townsend Town Hall Closed to Observe Veterans Day 2024

Thank you Veterans
Town Hall will be closed for business on Monday, November 11th,  2024 in honor of Veterans Day.  We thank all who have served.  
 
Municipal waste services will continue to operate on an uninterrupted schedule, with pickup on Monday, November 11th, 2024.  Please review municipal waste guidelines by clicking the link below:

Town Hall will be closed for business on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 in observance of Election Day.

Please note, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.  To locate your polling place, please call the Department of Elections at 302-577-3464 OR you may visit the following website: https://gis.elections.delaware.gov/apps/5bc1fa9352464944be601441655e36a0/explore and enter your address.

 
**Please remember, Townsend Town Hall is not a polling place for the 2024 General Election.**
