🚧 Road Repaving Notice – Brook Ramble Road (Townsend Station)
The Town of Townsend would like to notify residents of Townsend Station that Brook Ramble Road will be undergoing repaving beginning Monday, October 6th through Friday, October 10th (weather permitting).
What You Need to Know:
-
Traffic Access: Flaggers will be on-site to allow for limited access to Brook Ramble Road during construction. Please expect delays and plan extra time for travel. We kindly ask all drivers to proceed slowly and with caution for the safety of workers and neighbors.
-
Parking Restrictions: There will be NO street parking on Brook Ramble Road during this period.
-
All vehicles must be removed by Sunday evening, October 5th.
-
Vehicles remaining on the road will be towed at the owner’s expense to allow the work to move forward without interruption.
-
-
Resident Access: Driveways will remain accessible, though brief interruptions may occur as crews work directly in front of properties. Crews will work to minimize inconvenience.
-
Work Hours: Paving crews are expected to work during daylight hours. Work will not take place overnight.
Why This Matters:
This project is part of the Town’s ongoing commitment to maintain safe and reliable infrastructure for residents. Once completed, Brook Ramble Road will have a smoother, safer surface and improved durability.
