Weather Statement – September 22-24, 2023 – Costal Storm This Weekend
Date Posted: Thursday, September 21st, 2023US National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly has issued the following briefing for weather impacts this weekend; a coastal storm appears increasingly likely to affect the region from Friday night into Sunday. Besides the flooding rain potential mentioned in the graphic here, winds may gust up to 40 mph inland and 50 mph near the coast, which may result in coastal flooding, beach erosion and dangerous rip currents. Suffice it to say, the weekend in general, and Saturday in particular, is not looking very nice.
