Date Posted: Friday, August 15th, 2025The Town of Townsend is considering several lighting improvement projects to enhance safety, visibility, and community enjoyment in key areas around Town. We want to hear from YOU to help determine which projects should be prioritized.
Proposed Lighting Improvement Locations:

Park Lighting – Parking lots and walking path entrances at the Town Park

South Street – From 483 South Street heading toward Gray Street

Edgar Road – Between 162 Edgar Road and 157 Edgar Road

Caldwell Corner Road – Between Katlyn Drive and Edgar Road

Main Street – From 137 Main Street to the Fire Department
