Townsend Town Hall Closed in Recognition of the Memorial Day Holiday
In recognition of the Memorial Day Holiday, Townsend Townhall will be closed on Monday, May 27th, 2024.
Trash, recycling, and yard waste collection will be delayed until Tuesday, May 28th, 2024 due to the holiday. Please review municipal waste guidelines by clicking the following link: https://townsend.delaware.gov/2024/01/09/2024-municipal-waste-service-guidelines/
TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Main Street Closure – Saturday, 6/1/2024 – Townsend Strawberry Festival Parade
Please be advised Main Street will be closed on Saturday, 6/1/2024 from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. for the Townsend Strawberry Festival Parade.
NO PARKING, WILL BE ENFORCED ON MAIN STREET FROM 7 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Any vehicles parked on Main Street will be towed at owner’s expense.
