Board of Adjustment Appeals Ordinance 2024-004 – amendment

Ordinance 2024-004, an ordinance to amend the Townsend Municipal Code regarding commercial vehicles, was passed on May 1st, 2024 with an effective date of May 1st, 2024.  The approved ordinance can be viewed below.  Compliance with this ordinance is required by ALL property owners.

COMMUNITY ALERT – VEHICLE THEFT’S

A message from the Townsend Police Department: 

We are making our community aware of recent theft’s of motor vehicles from Townsend and other communities in close proximity to us.
 
We ask all our residents to LOCK YOUR VEHICLES.
 
If you have a security system please make sure it is properly recording and if possible have it placed in a manner that captures your vehicles.
 
If you see any suspicious vehicles or persons around your home contact the dispatch center at 302-739-4865 or 911.
 
DO NOT CONFRONT any individuals you may see.
