The Town of Townsend is happy to announce that we will continue accepting nominations throughout the year, as we hope to carry the tradition for years to come by adding to our Hometown Hero’s Banner display.
Please be advised we have only ONE (1) BANNER space available, to complete our first set of Hometown Hero Banners to be displayed on Main Street.
Furthermore, we would like to thank all those who have submitted their nominations and especially those who have served our Country!

ATTENTION ALL VETERANS, ACTIVE DUTY & RESERVE Please mark your calendar for this event.
In recognition of our Townsend Veterans, and all Veterans alike, the Town of Townsend is hosting a Veterans Resource Expo in collaboration with the Townsend Fire Company on Friday, May 17th from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
We invite all Veterans to attend this Resource Expo so that you may get connected with organizations that are readily available to help and/or assist you with any needs.
