Take notice that the Town of Townsend, Town Council will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.  This meeting will be held both in-person and in a virtual format.  Residents will be able to view documents posted to the meeting tab on the Town website at https://townsend.delaware.gov.  Those wishing to attend may dial 1(301)715-8592.  When directed, provide the following meeting ID 407-702-6733# and then the following password 332763# to enter the meeting.  If you choose to access the meeting online click the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/4077026733pwd=TjJ6NmhzMHdOT1dDa3h0Ty8wY0pUQT09

During this Public Hearing, the Town of Townsend, Town Council will consider the following Agenda:

Ordinance 2024-002, An Ordinance to Amend Section 24.0.060 of the Town Code to Add the Definition of Commercial Vehicle

Ordinance 2024-004, An Ordinance to Amend Board of Adjustment Appeals

Ordinance 2024-008, An Ordinance to Annex 6170 Summit Bridge Rd

Residents are encouraged to attend the public hearing to make public comment or email townhall@townsend.delaware.gov to advise of any comment, which will be entered and made part of the record.

Each in person attendee and virtual Zoom attendee will have the opportunity to speak for three (3) minutes. Each Zoom attendee should alert staff that they wish to speak at the appropriate time by submitting their name and address via the Zoom chat function during the meeting.
