Snow Emergency Declared- 4:00 a.m., Sunday 2/7/2021
Date Posted: Saturday, February 6th, 2021A moderate to heavy band of snowfall will overspread the area Sunday morning, with snow continuing into Sunday afternoon. Snowfall rates of 2 in/hr will be possible within this band, and isolated snowfall totals in excess of 7 inches will be possible. The current forecast is for a significant winter storm in the area. To allow for plowing, a snow emergency is being declared as of 4 AM Sunday. Residents are asked to move their vehicles to their driveways or to the odd numbered side of each street, where parking is allowed, before midnight. This will allow for snow plowing to begin Sunday morning. Snowfall will clear the area from southwest to northeast Sunday afternoon.
