JOB DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for preparation and maintenance of fiscal, Administrative and regulatory records for the Town. Work is performed in accordance with the Town Charter, ordinances, and general law, and requires initiative and the ability to work effectively and independently with the public and other officials. JOB DUTIES: Under limited supervision, reporting to the Town Manager, serves as liaison between Mayor and Council and the public; serves as custodian of Council’s legislative history and official records; attends and prepares minutes of Council meetings; prepares and manages Council’s meeting agendas and meeting calendar; issues public notice of Council and organizational meetings; provides administrative support to Council. ASD’s New 4-Year Old Preschool Program has openings for low-income and ELL families

The Appoquinimink School District is opening a new 4-Year Old Preschool Program at Brick Mill Elementary School (378 Brick Mill Road, Middletown, DE 19709) in the Fall. The program features tuition assistance for low-income and ELL families. Brick Mill’s preschool program will follow the school district calendar with before and after-care options. Tom McDonald is appointed Mayor at the June 5, 2019 Council Meeting

Newly elected members of Council Anthony Franco, Scott Lobdell and Tom McDonald took the oath of office  at the June 5, 2019 Council Meeting. Councilmen Ed Dugan and Patrick Miller then joined the newly appointed members of Council to appoint Mr. McDonald as Mayor for the coming year.
