Scholarship Opportunity thru National Wildlife Federation

CRAIG TUFTS EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP The Craig Tufts Educational Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Craig Tufts, Chief Naturalist of the National Wildlife Federation. Each year the fund grants an award to one youth to attend a week-long summer outdoor educational adventure camp at  The fund provides travel, room and board, and program fees for the award winner and an accompanying parent or guardian. The 2019 Family Nature Summit will be held July 20–26 at the Shanty Creek Resort near the Great Lakes shores of northern Michigan. In the interest of Public Safety, the following ordinance is being re-posted for those that may not be aware.  ORDINANCE # 11 KEEPING SIDEWALKS CLEAR Whereas, the Town Council for the Town of Townsend, Delaware, finds that the health and welfare of its citizens is vitally concerned with keeping sidewalks reasonably clear of debris, ice, snow and other material, which would represent a hazard to pedestrians by tripping, slipping, falling, or other difficulties, and Whereas, the Town finds that it is more reasonable to expect owners and tenants of property to be responsible for keeping the sidewalks in front of there property clear of such debris and problems, Now, Therefore, the Council for the Town of Townsend, Delaware declares the following Ordinance to be binding and effective upon all residents of the said Town.
