2017- 2018 Townsend Delaware College Scholars Awards Program Scholarship Guidelines: * Seeking high school graduates and rising college sophomores, juniors and seniors from the Town of Townsend with a record of leadership and volunteerism in the community in non-school sponsored activities and participation in extracurricular school activities. * Applicant must complete high school, freshman, sophomore, or junior year of college in the spring of 2017 * Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) *Applicants must apply to, be accepted into or attending an accredited 2 year       College or 4-year University by July 1, 2017 * Applicant must be a United States Citizen * Applicant must intend on pursuing a degree * Scholarship funds will be paid in August or September 2017 for the Fall semester directly to the college and not to the student.
