There are three (3) Council seats open and four (4) candidates – voters will vote for three (3) seats.

VOTER REGISTRATION & ELIGIBILITY

Must be registered to vote by April 17^th, 2021.

- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be a registered voter in the State of Delaware.
- Must be a citizen of the United States.
- Must be a resident, or own property within the “incorporated” limits of Townsend for 30 days prior to election.

ALL VOTERS WILL BE ASKED TO PRESENT PHOTO IDENTIFICATION ON THE DAY OF THE ELECTION

ABSENTEE BALLOTS

Absentee Ballot Requests are available on the Town Website delaware.gov or by calling Townsend Town Hall at 302-378-8082 or by emailing townhall@townsend.delaware.gov beginning– April 7, 2021.
Absentee ballots due in Town Hall by 6:00 pm the day of Elections- May 1, 2021
