Take notice that the Town of Townsend, Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. This meeting will be held at Townsend Town Hall located at 141 Main Street, Townsend, DE 19734 and will also be held via electronic means per the hybrid meeting provisions as provided in 29 Del. C. §10006A. Residents will be able to view documents posted to the meeting tab on the Town website at https://townsend.delaware.gov . Those wishing to attend virtually may dial 1(301)715-8592. Each in person attendee and virtual Zoom attendee will have the opportunity to speak for three (3) minutes. 613 Taylor LLC is seeking a variance associated with the subdivision of its .471-acre parcel of land located on Taylor Street into two lots. The R zoning attached to this lot requires each subdivided lot to be 12,500 square feet in size and to possess 100 feet of lot width. The proposed lots are slightly narrower than 100 feet (91.4 and 86.6 feet respectively). As such, variances are being requested to address these minor deficiencies.
