Fill your collection bag with nonperishable food and place it by your mailbox prior to mail delivery on May 13! Your letter carrier will ensure that it makes it to the Food Bank of Delaware! Please note collection bags will automatically be mailed to your residence by your letter carrier. In the event that it is not, you may leave any bag out May 13th and your letter carrier will take it. The Town of Townsend feels Veterans should be honored and thanked for their service at any given time or place, but has declared via Resolution No. 09-02, on April 18th of each year Townsend Veterans Recognition Day.
