Rental Ordinance No. 17-05 was passed on April 4, 2018 with an effective date of January 1, 2019.   The approved ordinance, along with proposed forms (which have not yet been finalized) can be viewed below.  Additional communications will follow.  Compliance with this ordinance is required by ALL residential rental units, whether they be apartments or single family residences. Streetscape – Phase II

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) invites the public to attend a public presentation to receive information about the design for pedestrian improvements in Townsend along Main Street from South Street to Brook Ramble Lane. The proposed safety improvements will be the focus of the May 23rd public workshop, which will be held at Town Hall from 4:30 – 6:30 pm. Interested members of the public are invited to attend. The purpose of the presentation is to provide an opportunity for the public to review and discuss the plan for the proposed improvements and provide input prior to the project submission to DelDOT for design funding. Attendees will have an opportunity to review display materials and provide comments to DelDOT representatives.
