Townsend Parade & Fair – 9/24/16
Date Posted: Monday, September 19th, 2016The Annual Townsend Parade & Fair will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Because there will be a number of large vehicles and floats in the parade, the Town is asking residents – if at all possible – to keep vehicles off Brook Ramble Road, Main Street, and Edgar Road (to just beyond the municipal park) until the parade concludes at about 11 am. This will help maintain traffic flow out of Townsend Station during the parade line-up and assist floats in maneuvering through the parade route. Donations for Veterans Resilience Home

It is a place where Vets can enjoy a home-like atmosphere where they can be taken care of for a period of time. Funds have been far and few between, and the community’s help is needed to continue to move forward. If you wish to donate any of the items listed below, they can be dropped off at the Big Ball Event on September 3rd at Silver Lake Park in Middletown from early am to 6pm. Take them to the Big military truck. If you are unable to drop off on this day, message HEELS FOR COMBAT BOOTS on facebook and they will arrange for a pick up!
